This is a 16"x20" original pastel on Pastel Mat.  The sandy shore stretches across the foreground, painted in warm, earthy tones. Gentle waves lap at the beach, with varying shades of blue suggesting movement and depth. I have tried to convey the ebb and flow of the ocean. Pluffy white clouds drift lazily, creating a sense of openness and tranquility. Their soft edges contrast with the solid ground below.
